Maybe if it had to survive on its own. I see this league being acquired by the NFL and used to develop players and test rules changes

My fan theory is the money behind the AAF has an inkling the 'amateur athlete' dog in the NCAA ain't gonna hunt no more and they're going to position themselves as a destination for the occasional one-and-done capable recruits and top JUCO guys to play a year and gain draft eligibility.

Alliance tried to get into St. Louis this year but couldn't get the dates for games in the Dome. Dome had already been booked for conventions and boat shows etc.
