*.* NEW- 2014 General Fitness Thread *.*
I guess we filled up the old one... http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=280149
Welcome to 2014! Now get your ass in top physical condition! No one else started it so here it is! **From the 2013 Thread** If you want to get back into lifting, or need a new lifting routine, START HERE: http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wi...inner_Programs If you have questions about the SS programs, look here: http://startingstrength.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ Keep in mind that you're a novice lifter for a longer period of time than you think you are. Novice lifting can last anywhere from a few months to a year or two, depending on how hard you hit the weights and where you started. Once you've reached the point where you don't make regular progress on the SS program, you are ready to move on to the intermediate stage, which can last you for a good number of years. Find it HERE: http://madcow.hostzi.com/5x5_Program/Linear_5x5.htm If you're a very advanced lifter (many, many years of CONSISTENT weight training), then there are lot of programs out there, and which one you pick is simply a matter of preference. If you're really that advanced, you should know what works for you and what doesn't by this point. |

It can be brutal as long as it fits in to 60 min tops. I'd like to hit bodyparts 2-3x week since my goal is hypertrophy. Keep in mind I cannot flat barbell bench, bit I have dumbells up to 120's and incline is fine. I never had my shoulder fixed so flat is the only movement that hurts it. Oh and I use a elitefts ssq bar for squatting since I can't pull that left shoulder back far.
I look forward to dying on your program. |

First time poster. Never clicked on this thread until now. I've started the Keto diet about 3 weeks ago. Try to make it to the gym Monday Tuesday and Thursday. Anyhow... Have been trying my best to follow the keto diet. My weakness is watermelon. It's in my gene's. Anyways...
Despite 3-4 nights or watermelon overload during those 3 weeks, I'm down 10 lbs. I've slipped up like one other time outside of the watermelon. I split a Fudge Brownie Cake and ice cream with the wifey at BWW last weekend. Other than that. It's been lettuce wrapped burgers and all other low carb shits for food options. Never realized how much sugar is in almost EVERYTHING. Had a really bad sugar craving last Friday but as crazy as it sounds, when I had that craving, if someone would've had whatever sweet I was craving in front of me, I wouldn't have tried it. Don't want to fall off the wagon that easy. Anyhow... first time I've lost 10 lbs in forever. Probably ever literally. Last edited by wutamess; 06-20-2017 at 12:50 PM.. |

I expect a new wave of fat pride and pro-fat and anti body discrimination stuff on the next year or so. This American Life just did an episode with a girl/comedian who wrote a book about it. Her arguments are pretty good about the hatred fatties face. Still... encouraging people to remain unhealthily fat isn't wise.
