It gets better.....Matt Derrick thinks they have to keep 5 DT's because Khalen Saunders is shit and not remotely ready to be part of the rotation so he is a sunk number that won't play.

Saunders came from the FCS level to the NFL. It takes time

If he needs that much time to be competent, dont' draft him in the 3rd ****ing round.

I'm also tired of hearing about Joey Ivie, what's with that?

Couple that with one of the best DL coaches in the game and it’s a solid pick in the third. |

Drafting DL because of skill and athleticism is definitely a good idea, but it can go bust pretty quick too.

He’s also an insurance policy Incase they can’t keep Jones after a 2020 tag. By that time he will be fully developed. In theory, at least.

Just pay Chris Jones. I’d rather be right against the cap looking for more talent in the draft than trying to replace that guy through the draft anyway.
Trade Sammy next Spring, use the $14 million we save from him to help pay for Tyreek and Jones, get another 2nd rd pick and let’s ride.

You can't expect every pick to be a hit. If Thornhill, Hardman and Thompson prove to be solid to good players, that's what you call a good draft. It's not like they had a 1st round pick.
Not saying Saunders will never amount to anything but just having 2 of your 3 top draft picks looking good with no 1st round pick is great. |
