Romo will be 37 next season and needs to retire before he ends up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, especially knowing that our Oline isn't near as good as the cowboys, nor do we have the same caliber of WRs here. How many surgeries has he had to his back? On top of major broken back issues, he is injury prone and you dumbasses want him here? He is a far cry from Peyton Manning, some of you guys need to pull your head out of your asses and let this thread die.

Waste of time... Romo has never won a Superbowl and at this point never will. Even if he holds up for one season, the best he will do is 9-7 here. Foles is worse than Alex, and we all seen that this season. The Pats backup qb is Matt Cassel v2.0, otherwise they wouldn't get rid of him. We need to draft high in the first round and have Alex groom the kid. Alex can win the divison next year, and we'll beat another team that will make it to the Superbowl, and we'll be in the playoffs with another chance which is more than I can say we'd do with these other qbs. But, at least we'll have our QBOTF and some respect vs looking like idiots if we make any of these stupid trades some of this board is suggesting.

Andy Reid isn't going anywhere so you guys need to ask yourself who knows this system and is the best fit to groom the rookie? Romo is self centered and will be worried about protecting his back most of the year and Matt Cassel v2.0 isn't qualified to groom anyone. So, go figure your best option and get back to me.

I'd rather have Brees or Rivers, but that is probably a pipe dream. This team is primed and ready. Just need a REAL QB.

Romo is made of glass, let Denver clean up his mess while we move towards the future, instead of taking a step backwards. Romo is exactly who I said he is, injury prone and a qb who will not get you to the promised land, and doesn't know the system well enough to groom a rookie, nor would he care too.

Romo has had way more injuries to his body over the course of his career than Alex, but that's about all. He has never won a superbowl with a great Oline, WRs, TE, and RB (when they had Murray) none of which do we have here. I watched every game of his career thanks to my cousin and our bets. Trust me, he is not the answer... Two back surgeries in one year? He is done as soon as he takes another shot to the back.

The major factor of what you said is his health, and their whole team and fans know that Romo is injury prone, even before the back Injuries. |
