TMZ: HomePrince's Autopsy Completed ... Still No Cause of Death

Prince's autopsy was just completed ... but the cause of the singer's death is still a mystery.

The four hour procedure started at 9 AM CDT Friday and Prince's body will be released to his family later today. We're told results from the exam won't be disclosed until toxicology results come back ... which could take several weeks.

A rep for the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office in Minnesota says they're still collecting the singer's medical records as well as family medical history to complete their investigation.

As TMZ reported, Prince was spotted Wednesday pacing outside a local Walgreens waiting on a prescription.

Prince died Thursday morning after being found unresponsive in his Paisley Park compound.

I've been reading it was Percocet, he became addicted to them for the chronic hip pain he suffered from... the plane stop in Moline Illinois last week was supposedly for an OD as well

Prescription pills are a nightmare, and completely random on who gets addicted. My brother had to go to rehab twice, and thankfully has put that we'll behind him.

When I broke my leg- both bones below the knee in 4 spots, I was on HEAVY doses of 3 painkillers all at the same time. I apparently have a very high natural tolerance for opoids and painkillers in general, so they had to prescribe me a dose for someone who would have been twice my weight or whatever.

When I tapered off, I had almost zero withdrawal or urge to abuse it. I did feel depressed mentally, but no real physical symptoms except maybe 2 or 3 days with a bit of diarrhea.

Yet, somehow my brother, who was only prescribed painkillers that were about a quarter of the strength really struggled getting off them.

That's what scares me, because you have no way of knowing if you're playing with fire for a med that's supposed to help you in the short term.

There's a reason why rx abuse is reaching epidemic levels, sadly.

I watched that movie one night on Netflix. I had never heard of it, and just said '**** it' and watched it. it was a really good movie. Funny as shit.


I need to watch it again.
