Lamar Jackson reminds me a lot of Colin Kaepernick in the sense that he was in that Roman offense and put up these huge numbers going all the way to the SB, but dude was never the best QB in the league.

Did you know Lamar Jackson has only completed 20+ passes in a regular season game 5 times?

He’s also completed 15 or fewer as a starter 12 times.

Since Lamar Jackson became the Ravens starting QB midway through the 2018 season, he's never led them to a comeback win when they've trailed in the fourth quarter.

His only comeback win when trailing in the SECOND HALF of a game was against the Bengals/Andy Dalton in 2018, and that comeback took place when trailing in the third quarter.

No one really knows cause of the COVID regulations.

The Chiefs put out some clips of him making plays at practice and lead us to believe that he would be a day one starter... but nothing so far.

They’ve either been keeping him under wraps for two weeks, or they want him to get a better grasp on the defense.

I'd say Lamar and his teammates deserve a lot of credit for kicking butt early in games. You would rather win like that than get off to slow starts and have to pull off crazy comebacks.

Here’s my question.

If Jackson is a top 10 passer, then why the **** would any coach have him run so many times? Why risk an injury to your QB if he’s perfectly capable of beating teams from the pocket?

It takes one freak play to end your season, but Jackson still had 17 rushing attempts in Week 16 against the Browns (who weren’t even any good).

Postseason? Sure run him all you want (even though 20 attempts only amounted to 12 points against the Titans). Regular season against the Bengals in Week 6? Why the **** would he run 19 times?

And no these aren’t all scrambles. Plenty are designed runs.

Here is how last season's match-up played out... w/o Hill.
pp

They have added Peters and lost Earl Thomas...Tyreek demands two defenders. Something has to give...and Chiefs role players (Hardman/Williams) had good games...as well as Kelce.

I'm looking at Harmadn/Kelce/CEH to be big...and Hill eventually, if they leave Humphrey on him, singled up.

Is this time CEH shows in the screen game?...they blitz 47%.

And to clarify, that’s Darrell Williams. We also didn’t have Damien Williams for that game.

First of all QBs are more susceptible to get hurt in the pocket than they are out of it. Also your logic just doesn’t make any sense. He’s good at both so why not do both?
