Maybe a dumb question but I haven't seen it before but if you bounce the ball off an opposing player that is out of bounds it's considered last touched by the opponent? Why is that? Is that because it's not players that go oob but only the ball and it has to touch the ground otherwise it's still in bounds?

Ball is considered out of bounds if it is touching a player who is out of bounds.

It was a really puzzling end of the half by self. You have furphy playing really well and instead of putting him at the 4 to stretch the defense and KJ at the 5 you play Braun extended minutes even though it kills all spacing when paired with Harris KJ and Jackson. Yes and that was correct. It should have been UCF's ball because he still threw it off the KU player (lying out of bounds) while he was still in bounds. If his throw had not touched the KU player, it would have been KU ball.
