The point is that he could've possibly won more had he stayed in Miami, or at least had a better shot

This isn't even debatable

I guess you could argue that one ring in Cleveland is worth more than 2-3 in Miami though for his legacy

I still think the team could have functioned with coaching. Maybe it's too late to correct their mistakes. LeBron would hate it. But put a coach that kicks the teams ass in there. You can make an underachiever like Delly contribute. This same team with popovich could easily do damage on golden state.

Tristan Thompson is one of the hardest working players I've ever seen. He's looked lethargic this series. That tells you all you need to know about the quality of the Cavs coaching.

That's not on the coaching. That's on Khloe Kardashian.

Zilla has a man crush on David Blatt for whatever reason. Even though no NBA team would take a chance on him again, and that's a league that loves retreads.

No NBA team will take a chance on him because it's unfortunately a player's coach league. The league would rather hire and rehire Jason Kidd, who has zero experience, than consider an experienced coach like Blatt. That tells you all you need to know. They'd rather hire coaches who make players happy than one who will install a good system.

I don't think Lebron treated him fair whatsoever. Blatt was out the minute Lebron walked in the door. And once you cross Lebron, it's hard to convince other teams that you can keep their superstars happy.

Anyone who thinks the Cavs are better off with what Lue built this year vs. what Blatt built last year is crazy. Blatt is out of a job because of politics. I had hoped this year would vindicate him. Unfortunately, the East was such a cakewalk that we didn't see how flawed the Cavs team was until they hit the finals. I had been calling this out for months.

just to be clear; given that the warriors drafted their core and only signed a max-level player due to losing one that they had drafted, the Warriors clearly do NOT meet this "taken as shared" definition of "Superteam." Correct?

For those who still don't get LeBron's pass to an open Kyle Korver, here's one of the greatest basketball minds of our time explaining it for you.

Korver shot 59 percent on left corner 3-pointers during the season, the best in the NBA among players with at least 40 such attempts. In the playoffs, Korver was 7-of-14 on 3-pointers from the left corner before that shot. But LeBron doesn't know what he's doing.

The ratings are through the roof even though these teams are a complete mismatch.

I thought about them but didn't consider them to be at the same level. I could be wrong, though.

I only saw the last minute but thought it was a terrible play at that point in the game. 3rd quarter, sure. Needing two to seal it, nope.

Kyrie being a complete ballhog dipshit was way worse play than LeBron passing to Korver.

i am convinced and said it in this forum years ago that the end game will always be team banana boat assembling in their mid to late 30s for a last run. Lebrons only thing left is get his boys Melo and Paul a ring, in LA I'd imagine.
