You actually can see when people have been online. Hit the show offline members tab on the top left, then select last online (or whatever it is) off the dropdown menu all the way to the right.

Looking at your question specifically, it seems at a glance like your crafting is maybe a bit behind where you might want it to be. Which can be remedied really, really quickly. My advice for you would be to spend a day (however much time your on) just doing scavenging on whichever toon scavenges (if they both don't) to build up a stock. That means sending all your available characters out on scavenging missions, in addition to actually scavenging robots and nodes in the game world. You'll want to make sure you scavenge everything available, with particular note on things like fluxes (you can save tons of cash by getting those through missions rather than purchasing them at the crew skills venders). But get everything, metals, compounds, fluxes. Then after you have some stock, you can batch craft items for cybertch and armormech. The best way to level is to find an orange (difficulty) level recipe (the latest one you can get - if you're at 60 armormech, then that's where you're going to start, with one of the 60 armormech recipes - I say orange because in your crew skills menu it will be marked as orange difficulty, I don't mean an orange recipe in terms of moddable gear - hope that's not too confusing) and craft 10 of them. That will gain you 20 points (you always gain 2 skill points with an orange difficulty item) and put you on the next tier. Buy a new recipe and craft 10 of those. And reverse engineer everything you make, not for RE'd recipes as much as to help keep you stocked with materials. To work on your own gear, my advice would be to stick with orange moddable gear, whether you get it through quests or buy recipes for your armormech (the purchased recipes are generally better-looking than drops IMO, although that may not actually be true until 30+ thinking back), and then focus on using your cybertech to keep yourself up to date with your mods. Basically you want new armoring and mods, every 3 or 4 levels. Decide what you want to use, and then reverse engineer that recipe until you have the prototype (blue) version. IMO don't bother with artifact (purple) RE'd stuff until you're making level 48-50 gear. You don't have an artificer so you can't make your own barrels or enhancements, but that's fine, you can use your planetary commendations to fill out those slots. I actually ground my amormech up earlier in the week, and that's exactly how I did it. I would set her making 10 of an item, log for a half hour, get back on, and then pick another item and make 10 of that. Lather, rinse and repeat. I went from about 160 to 400 in a day. Of course I had the benefit of a high level scavenger collecting mats for week, but you can do exactly the same thing, albeit at a slower pace. |

Does playing on a router affect my gameplay? Because I get to phases and stuff and it's like playing atari. Sooo slow and unresponsive.

Brim (and other TR53 members), we are switching over to The Righteous (a raiding guild). Whisper Silox or Bankey for invites and mention that you're from the TR53, just make sure you /gquit first. If you'd rather not join, I understand, but from what I gather, everyone from TR53 is welcome. Celia'bhar and Mayhem already made the switch along with me.

So here is a question for the "mobile" gamers.
I am contemplating taking a new job where I would do a little bit of travelling. Basically, once or twice a month, I would fly or drive to a clients location on Monday, then head back home on Thursday. With that being said, when I am back at my hotel, what are some suggestions for getting a decent line speed so I could log onto TOR? I would definitely want a hard line, nothing wireless. I am guessing, I would need to go through the hotel. Anyone have experience with this? Any suggestions or feedback you can give me? Thx |

Finally got my gunslinger to 50. I think I'm going to do my trooper next.
I haven't started to burn out at all on the game, which is pretty amazing, and I still haven't played any empire yet. |

You should switch over. There are like 100 members listed (I'm sure at least half are alts) and only a few people are even talking about raiding. Most of the time, they're just PvPing and doing dailies. There's really no pressure to do anything, it's just nice to be able to talk to someone while you play and have the ability to get on Vent for a better PvP/group experience.

I'm not in TR53 anymore and I don't have the power to invite. You can whisper Huffmeister for an invite to TR53 or maybe try and whisper Silox or Blankey for an invite to The Righteous.
