**MNF: Chargers @ Saints**

Cause it’s time to turn the page...

They’re saying Bosa is probably out, Ingram and Harris already out. Chargers in trouble.

This is just an insane take, I’m sorry.

Thornhill has pro bowl potential. Sneed somehow already looks like a star in the making without a real offseason. Clyde is going to continue to get better, we haven’t saw Gay or Niang really thus far. Basically everyone else has exceeded expectations in the past two drafts outside of Darwin or Allegretti.

Hitting on those picks to fill out the back half of your roster is how you continue to win big. You have to have that depth, it doesn’t matter how good your stars are.

I have liked what I’ve seen out of Snead, no doubt about it. Thornhill still looks like he has a ways to go to recover from his Achilles injury, but he was solid last year.

You make some good points.

Well obviously. But the kid is playing absolutely ****ing amazing for a rookie. It keeps reminding me of Mahomes' 2018 season. The major difference is he's playing for a super shitty team.

What, we should start worrying in about 10-15 years? Don't see any AFC-W team "passing" us for quite awhile.

The talent on that team is much better than what their records have been.

The offensive talent is pretty good at each level and the defense is stacked in the front 7.

Yes, I've forgotten most of it already. If not for Mahomes magic, the Chiefs were beaten that game. Pretty good for his first start.

Herbert is playing well for a rookie, no doubt. Still, there are a lot of holes in his game.

It's only been 5 games, so I won't chew on your assertion that Herbert's having a season similar to Mahomes in 2018, but I just don't think he's on that level either.

Kind of concerning to think what’s going to happen when our big contracts start coming due. I don’t see a lot of cheap impact players coming into this franchise, while our rivals seem to be stockpiling it by the boatload.
Don't get nervous, plenty of cheap impact players wanna get with Mahomes and Reid

Herbert also threw an absolutely stupid INT. he has done that several times now. He may not keep doing it, we just dont know yet. All I m saying is its too soon to say we cant count on him being Rivers like because so far he has been exactly that.

Herbert has all the talent you need but like with all QBs, gotta see how he responds when teams find out what is tough on him. Will it rattle him, will he lose confidence?

Again, we used to think that Carr was going to be elite too...

I only call them shitty because of the injuries. If they were at full stength they would absolutely be a concern.

He's shown tons of fearlessness. That's my #1 thing when judging QBs. The kid ain't scared of shit.
