I tried both In-N-Out and Jack N The Box for the first time on a trip to SoCal/Vegas a few years back.
I thought In-N-Out was really good. We may have just picked a good location because it was busy and the food we received was hot. My experience with Jack N The Box was a bit different. The one I visited was in San Diego. A homeless dude and some rando were about to fight in the dining room. The food was decent and, despite the near-brawl, the most memorable thing about the Box for me was the diversity in menu items. I feel like they had every kind of protein in the joint. Major burger joints I've still never tried: Whataburger, Smashburger, and Red Robin. |

Smashburger reminded me a lot of a Wendy's burger without all the shit they throw on them.
