The Chiefs were the other team that sent Kyle Fuller an offer sheet, but the Packers offer gave him better leverage, so he took theirs. Chicago matched it, so since he was a franchise tag..he is still a Bear.

I’m aware of this. It was a rhetorical question.

In his first 4 drafts, he drafted 32 players.. only 13 are still on the team..

People blamming Veach for the secondary issues.. Look farther.. In Dorsey's 5 drafts, he only drafted "one" safety..Leon McQuay in the 6th RD.. he did draft CB's Sanders Commings in the 6th RD and Eric Murray in the 4th Rd trying to changing them in safetys..

Marcus Peters is the only CB taken above the 3rd Rd.. He did pick 3 CB's with a 3rd rd picks..1) Gaines..that didn't work out 2) S. Nelson.. Dorsey drafted him to play slot CB (which he had never played) 3) K. Russell.. this guy wasn't worth the time it took to call his name draft day..

So basically in Dorsey's 5 drafts.. He picked one DB above the 3rd RD.. there others (except Nelson) big Red Flags. For a team that usually keeps 10 DB's on the roster and uses 3 safety's often..

Ok well, he said he just had the worst season of his career and he has a reputation for stirring the pot and not being the best veteran presence in the locker room and not being a great teammate.

Translation= locker room cancer and he sucks.

If you really think Dorsey sucked at drafting go compare his drafts to any other team in the league...you'll quickly see you're wrong.

Hey lets sign Sean Smith too and Scandrick and Breeland out of those 3 ****s you outta be able to find someone that can do something.

Washington beat writer implied Scandrick got cut cause he disagreed with coaches. Called it a veteran with a big opinion that just didnt work out.

This JAG is NEVER healthy and he's not all that good anyway. Veach should just let the JAG Collection he has at CB stand. None of these broke-dick CB's will really help as all have limitations and issues.

I'd get a Safety in here (Reid) to head off a potential disaster at that position. Oh - and find a LG that can actually block.

I wish Veach would trade a low pick for a decent CB but then I know how valuable picks are, especially if you think you can get anything out of a player which you can acquire without losing any picks.

We will just have to see the rest of the preseason games.

One thing is sure in my mind, I do not trust any CB beyond our top trio to be anywhere good enough to be a starter, knowing Amerson is a big unknown himself. There could be a surprise but you don't start a season with a prayer that some player will be good.

At this point the pass rush will have to step up. There's nobody out there that will be a big help. If they can, maybe the pass defense will get a little better. If the pass rush stinks like it has we will be looking at another career day defense.

I think it's actually smart to trade late round picks for current players, if you know they can play.
