This is a franchise that has made the postseason 10 times in the last 14 seasons.
Reached three World Series in the last decade, and won as many championships (two) the past eight seasons as it did from 1965 to 2005.
Our new Manager has more post season experience than any other manager in baseball, except the Giants manager.
Three million attendance? Take it to the bank.
60 post season wins since 2004. 20+ wins more than any other team.
Only one of the last 14 seasons has been a losing one.

The thing that really irritates me is this team has absolute zero fight. If they get down by a few runs they just swing away at everything looking like they do not even want to be there.

That is so different from the 2011/12 teams. They had a never give up mentality.

Mabry needs to be fired, like now. If Matheny tries to fight to keep him, fire his ass too and deal with the contract buyout. I am sick and tired of seeing the same shit game in and game out.

Wong is playing down in AAA. He was hitting okay before he got hurt. Playing with some energy. I don't think there is any reason to doubt he can hit .280 and play some good defense. Thats better than the .197 averages of Ellis and Delcasco.

Grichuk is just not ready yet. Piscotty should be ready next year. But, I don't see a lot of immediate help to call up. I don't see the need to make a blockbuster trade and give away some key future pieces to make a run this year. Stanton is not going to turn around this team. Miami turned down 2 top studs for him. We shouldn't pay that price.

Pitching is not our issue. Just let this season go unless they somehow, someway get hot before the deadline.

I am of the opinion that the Cardinals organization insanely overrates its own prospects at this point. To add to that, we have some logjams at certain positions as a result.
