I love him. He's by far the best CBS has.

While I hate seeing my favorite team lose...

It's the best of both worlds, IMO. We're showing real promise, and progress... while keeping hopes for a top notch pick alive.

I won't lie though... when it came down to it... I was begging for the Chiefs to win as if it was a playoff game. I can't help it.

Herm has ALWAYS choked away close games-just ask the Jets trolls.

I mean, just to go out on a limb and everything.

I think you have me confused with someone who would say we should go out and actively try to lose. If that's your perception, you may want to pause and reread the post you originally replied to.
I do not see the difference....

Story of the game: While KC performed slightly better than many probably thought, San Diego continued to be the suck....and they keep trying their hardest to not win the west. Does anyone want to win this division?!?

Baby steps, man. Baby steps. Had to get them to believe they could even be in a game first, that they belong on the field with the other team. Wins will come if they keep playing like they have.

It's a LEARNING season. You put the young kids in that situation to teach then to be calm during those times. You go for the win to TEACH!

I knew people would be pissed about not tieing the game. I for one, am glad herm and co. grew a pair and went for the win.

Very exciting game, something we haven't had in a long time.

So what that we lost? If you expected this team to be THIS competitive this year then you are a fool.

I'm glad and proud of how they played (except the d-backs) and a few 3rd down play calling, but all in all I think they all did a very good job. I'm excited to see where this team ends up and how they do next year. They have a lot of potential.

Okay-so it is okay to Lay down in the first half when you have a team on its heals with 2 timeouts to protect a lead-lame call

but then go for it when you can tie it on the Road and close them out. We had the momentum.

2 Bad calls by Herm-doomed us Yet again.

That's the thing.

THIS is how rebuilding should look.

Yes, it sucks that we lost... that always sucks. But this team is clearly getting better. If you can't see that, you're blind.

I don't know what's more expected, the Chiefs losing a close and exciting game or GoChiefs showing no integrity.

Hmmmmmm.......

Probably GoChiefs showing no integrity was the most expected. Yep, that's what I think.

Ditto.

Improvement in play, coaching, depth, youth, production on offense and lack of suck on defense, and the balls finally displayed to win by the HC.

Yeah, to me it's too late, but at least the team (TEAM) is improving...

I agree that certain players (THIGGY, Gonzo, Bowe) have stepped up with some leadership that this team needed-I still see Nothing from the coaching staff.

Herm just stands there with that Stoopid confused look every game and finds a new way to Choke it away.

Other teams cut there losses with such idiots-hell SD just fired the D coach midseason-but yet we are stuck with this jackass game after game.
