Yep, the last three weeks have been great.

It's disappointing to lose, and I think it's just a matter of time until they start pulling some of these out, but they're competitive now. And they did it today with a bunch of guys off the waiver wire playing defense.

Agreed.

It's nice to see players like Dorsey, Albert, Thigpen, and Tyler improve despite horrible coaching.

Yeah but I'm kind of scared about the return of Larry Johnson (if it happens)...our offense has looked better than it has in the last two in a half years and Larry has been suspended or inactive...can he adjust to our new offense? Can he be the shotgun back like Charles/Smith/Savage? I don't see him being more than a 10 carry back if he returns...we just don't run that offense much anymore...

Get whatever we can for Larry in the offseason...and if that's nothing, see ya...we're a better team without that cancer...as much as I hate to say it because I really liked Larry Johnson.

Charles is a keeper, draft another runner in the 3rd or 4th round next year that is the thunder to Charles' lightning...we've seen that rookie backs are easy to find in today's game.

At this point, Herm needs to tell LJ he isn't going to be a featured back, and if he doesn't accept that role he'll be inactive for the rest of the season.

Plain and simple.

I'm bummed about the last three weeks. You want this team to believe that they can pull out the close games, not lose them.

Because we are one of the worst franchises in the NFL and desperately need high picks so we can have elite talent at some positions?

I mean, just to go out on a limb and everything.

I think you have me confused with someone who would say we should go out and actively try to lose. If that's your perception, you may want to pause and reread the post you originally replied to.

You didn't say tie the game you said if Thigpen drove them to a TD in any way you would leave.

Agreed on all accounts.

The one thing I don't want to see is Savage in the backfield next year. Get a brusing tailback, and roll with them and Charles.

LJ's time has come and gone. The only way to even think about keeping this guy is have him enter a rehab facility in the off-season to straighten out his attitude and life.

I don't understand why he should have gone for the extra point....

It's a LEARNING season. You put the young kids in that situation to teach then to be calm during those times. You go for the win to TEACH!

I knew people would be pissed about not tieing the game. I for one, am glad herm and co. grew a pair and went for the win.

Very exciting game, something we haven't had in a long time.

So what that we lost? If you expected this team to be THIS competitive this year then you are a fool.

I'm glad and proud of how they played (except the d-backs) and a few 3rd down play calling, but all in all I think they all did a very good job. I'm excited to see where this team ends up and how they do next year. They have a lot of potential.
