Roethlisberger, on the road, has completed 59% of his passes, 1904 yards, scoring 9 TDs to 8 INTs.

He's a different QB away from Heinz Field...and Arrowhead will be loud.

Tough to get excited with 2 HOF QB's standing between you and the Lamar.

We may lose right out of the gate... but Peyton Manning beat both of those guys last year, and he didn't play half as well as Alex Smith did this year. It can be done. There is zero doubt or argument otherwise. Will it? I wouldn't bet on it either, going into New England is a tough task. But you absolutely cannot argue that it's impossible.

Denver was fortunate to play a wounded Pitt offense, no Bell, Brown concussed and Ben was gimpy. Even then it was a close game until the final minutes.
They also played Pats very close, it will have been a totally different game in NE.
Both Pitt and NE this year are fully healthy. It is going to be an effort for the ages to be in the SB, possible but not likely IMHO.

Kman, my man... I could hardly be more stoked

A playoff game at home, with a bye to rest and prepare, then factor in Reids record when he has an extra week?

Thats good stuff, Maynard

This might be the year...

I like the Chiefs chances in the first game, probably vs Pittsburgh.
My coworkers are about 60/40 confident the Chiefs would beat Pittsburgh. The hopeful scenario was brought up by one guy of Miami winning to send the Texans/Raiders winner to Arrowhead of which I believe everyone was confident of a Chiefs win. I got the feeling thats what the average random Chiefs fan hopes happens. Miami beats Pittsburgh so the Chiefs wont have to face them.

I don't care who comes into town. I am pumped. I think we will win. They just have to be the "versus Denver Chiefs" and not the "versus Titans" Chiefs. Those were the Chiefs in Indy two years ago. Exactly. Just with more points.

I'm fired up about it, not nearly like I was for the games in the 90's, but fired up none the less.

I feel pretty good about it. But I felt good last year. I have a lot of confidence that Andy Reid will have this team prepared. He's so good with a bye week. Doesn't mean we'll win, but I don't expect a disaster like the Ravens/Chiefs game the last time there was a playoff game in Arrowhead either.

I don't care who they play, this team has a different vibe to me than Chief playoff teams pre-Reid. He has more playoff wins than all of his predecessors combined and has a high rate of success after a bye. Those Eagles teams that he took deep into the playoffs ending up losing close ones to elite teams (01 Rams, 02 Bucs, 04 Pats, 10 Packers). There isn't anyone in this field of teams that comes close to that level of opponent. Reid is the winningest coach in the league without a ring. I believe he'll finally get his in KC, if not this year in the near future.
