Sure but that’s not the point. He stated that the Packers are getting better week by week and I pointed out that just two weeks ago, at home, the Packers got bailed out by the Refs. Also, before we anoint the Lions as some great team, let’s point out that they blew an 18 pt fourth quarter lead to a rookie QB and rookie coach on both of their first games. And the Lions got smoked at home by a Vikings team who got all they could handle from Dwayne Haskins and his squad. See, we could do this all day which leads to my overall point from earlier in the thread, where I simply stated....NFL. Teams look different week to week and play differently based on a number of factors. The guys in the desert have this as a one possession game. Any number of things could occur to change or influence that one possession. Again, I think the Packers more than likely win the game. I think there’s a decent probability they kick the shit out of us. But the Chiefs will still trot out an NFL team on Sunday night. And NFL teams are always capable of beating other NFL teams.

That was a game that had a lot of big swings on close calls but I don't recall multiple bad calls.

Everything was the fault of Golladay not controlling a pass in the back of the end zone followed by Stafford just straight up dropping the ball and then their RB fumbling at the 1 inch line trying to reach the ball over the goal line.

Yes. And Stafford fumbled on the 5 lol. Guess we should count our blessings after the rough October. It could be worse.

I respect those of you who think we might actually win, but I respect the hallucinogens you are on just a little bit more.

I'm usually one of the biggest Chiefs homers on here. And I booked my travel and bought my tickets to the GB game *after* we beat Denver even though I knew Mahomes wouldn't be playing. So it's not like I'm some unsupportive fan who gets off on being negative.

But this seems insurmountable. Putting the Denver game to the side, we didn't look good in the second half of the Ravens game, the entire Lions game, the entire Colts game, and the entire Texans game. Was our performance at Denver more representative of who we really are? Or was it the 14 quarters that preceded it?

Don't get me wrong - with all of those injured starters, we would beat GB. Handily. I'd even say we'd beat them if Mahomes were playing. But it's not realistic to have high expectations given the missing players. So I'm just going to enjoy whatever comes and yell loud and support a short-handed team.

Chiefs fan psyche reminds me of 'finals week panic'

OK, . . . I'll just rest my eyes for a couple hours, then I'll be fresh to tackle . . . [checks clock, checks syllabus] . . . 1 chapter of the textbook per hour. That'll give me 20 minutes to mainline coffee, then catch the Metrolink to the final. I GOT THIS!!!

Anything is possible. Let's do this!

Oh dang it. I haven't had my coffee yet. Not thinking straight...

People, not robots. Go Chiefs. Even the worst players are the simply the good players instead of the great ones.

High probability the Chiefs lose and by multiple scores. What matters is Frank Clark's health. His neck has been a recurring problem. If it's a bulging disc, we're screwed.

Not saying the Chiefs are a lock to win this Sunday, but seriously it's not like the Chiefs are at some insurmountable disadvantage here.

We're at home.

Andy's had 3-4 extra days to prepare knowing his QB is Moore. And Andy always has a great game plan when he has extra days to get ready.

Andy is the best QB whisperer in the business.

Moore is a veteran QB that has beaten some of the best defenses in the league in his career.

Hill, Kelce, Shady, Watkins, Mecole, DRob, and Pringle will all be on the field.

Rankins is playing well at LG.

The Packers defense is almost as bad as the Chiefs defense against the run and against fast athletic TEs. Two rookie TEs just had back-to-back 100+ yard games and multiple TDs against the Packers.

At worst, this game is basically a coin toss, so long as our defense plays with the same focus and intensity that they played with on Thursday. Against Rodgers, that's not bad.
HELL YES KWEEN!!!!!!!

I do too.

Pack plays better at home then they do on the road. They will have a bit a of a let down after last week vs the Raiders. Its just one of those games that everyone thinks we lose, so we win.

Guy has one good game against arguably the worst O line in the league(outside of Cincinnati)and all of a sudden, we’re screwed without him?

After mulling it over I would be surprised to see any of these players on the field next week also. I don't think Andy gives a hairy rat's butt about his over all record at this point. He wants his team healthy for the upcoming back to back games against the Chargers and Raiders. If he wins those two games he can pretty well coast into the playoffs as the AFC West champs.
