The Chiefs have shown they can draft and develop DB's, and you might be able to get a couple 1's for McDuffie.

Re: Karlaftis, I love George but I'm not sure he's shown enough to be a foundational guy you give the huge deal to.
I think you definitely pick up the player option and see what the ask is. But even if he puts together 2 more seasons like this one, I don't think I'm paying him like a tier 2 DE. He's a really, really effective Robin. If he's the second-best player on your DL, you're in pretty good shape. If he's the best player I think you have trouble.

Things can change but I am paying McDuffie over GK 100 out of 100 times as things currently stand. McDuffie is the elite player of the two.

Jones will be signed long term, eg 3 years at least. Sneed either is traded now or plays on the FT. This isn't hard |

As great as McDuffie has played i would not assume he’s as good as Sneed outside.

Feeling chances are fair that both Sneed and CJ leave.
Sneed is entering his prime and is a top rated corner. FA class looks thin and no real studs in the draft. He should fetch around a 1 in value. I don't see CJ cutting any sort of a deal which would be necessary for him to stay. I could see Wilkins being a FA target. Miami can't afford him. |
