Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs
Well, it looks like the deal is done.
https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith Jay Glazer @JayGlazer Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith. |

Jeez still arguing with 49er fans? I like the trade. Sure it was too much but he was the best QB on the market. They havent signed him to an extension. Its just a 2 year deal at a reasonable price

After Kaepernick came into the game, the 49ers outscored the Rams. Alex was losing the Rams game when Kaepernick took over for him. How many times do I have to tell you to QUIT TALKING 49ERS ON THE CHIEFS FORUM! This thread is about Alex. If you want to argue with me, we have our own forum for that, so shut the **** up and get the **** out. In fact, leave these nice people alone to their flaming anti=freeze rape trees. They have had their fill of asswipes like you. |

I have been a 49er fan since 1981. I supported the Montana trade and took a beating from all of my friends and co-workers for supporting Steve. I was too busy being a workaholic working on the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge and the new Skyway segment of the new bay bridge to have the time to obsess over the 49ers when the 49ers ****ed up and drafted Alex Smith. You must think that nobody is a fan until they register on a forum. Guess what? I was a 49er fan long before the internet existed, let alone before I registered on a 49er forum. You are a ****ing idiot. I don't talk to ****ing idiots. For the last time, leave these nice Chiefs fans alone to their misery with Alex and quit talking 49ers to me. One last thing. You are ****ing idiot. I don't talk to ****ing idiots. |

LOL we had this shit on our forums for the last 2 years...now it is here.
I feel bad for Chief fans...not because Alex came...but the garbage that followed him here. We'll all see soon enough how good Alex is or isn't. I'm betting he does well...more I'm hoping he does exceedingly well... 9ers have a vested interest in it since we get a conditional pick. Btw, do you guys have any local media people that keeps tabs on the chiefs regularly? How players are doing and such? |

Not since "Matt Cassel traded to the Chiefs" has such a completely shitty thread stained this board.

Could be worse. Could have traded for Flynn or signed Kolb

I would be much happier if we had given up a 2014 5th round pick for Flynn, rather than 2.34 plus possibly another 2nd rounder in 2014 for Alex ****ing Smith.

No, our local media is terrible. They haven't been the first to break a Chiefs-related story since I became a fan. Honest-to-god, this forum is the first place that news tends to show up (excluding Twitter, in many cases).

Alex ****ing Smith has done nothing but piss himself on the field for 8 seasons. That playoff win was a fluke, and everyone will realize it after this season is over.
