Regardless of the reference - you’ve got homework. The league is must watch TV for any football / fantasy fan. Think you can stream it on Hulu or Amazon Prime currently.

I couldn't make it very far into the show. Maybe I should try again but the first couple episodes didn't grab me.

The first few are character development. It’s stupid humor but a go to for me.

Tough call. It definitely maintains the same brand of dumb/slapstick comedy throughout. If you don’t find that style humorous, it probably won’t get better in your book. The situational humor around fantasy football is relatable to anyone whose ever played before - and that stays a central theme throughout.

That said, like any show, the writing and acting definitely improve as the series goes along. Lots of cameos with NFL players as the series progresses too which adds some entertainment. I’d say try watching the first 1-1.5 seasons again… but if it doesn’t pull you in, abort again.
