That is a piece of it, but they also get a touchdown pass to their QB thrown by their QB, a basketball bounce on ru a run up the middle for fumble return, and an unforced screw up from our FG unit. It is physicality mixed with a lot of pixie dust.

Not running the ball on the 3rd and 2 to win the game was the worst decision he’s made in awhile.

People said last game was a turning point, a defining win for a team without it's starting QB. One that defines season. Well they pissed it all away with this one and they don't equate.
Chiefs aren't going anywhere and if they could we can't stay healthy. This is a one and done team in the playoffs if they make it there. I have no confidence. It's done, it's shot. After this loss I won't be able to watch a game and think we will win it unless we're up 42-8 in the 4th q. I'm pissed too, but glad I haven't wasted any actual money on the chiefs this year. They stole plenty of that from me last year on the AFCCG when I watched grandpa Bob's defense hand the pats the game after Andy kept him on for a year longer than be should, costing us a SB appearance. And make no mistake that was Andy's call. Andy runs this team top to bottom. I'm starting to get fed up. Fed up with having all the talent in the world and finding ways to lose games. They aren't even new ways to lose, they are the same ways. Over and over. We are gonna see this again just in the playoffs. Rinse repeat. I learned something today. That's Im losing enjoyment watching games. I'm just frustrated top to bottom being able to predict exactly what's going to happen before it does because I've seen the script over and over. Man idk, I think I may have to take a step away from it for a few weeks. That's my fault I'm the only one who can control it, but man I just want this team to succeed badly, and by that I mean a SB appearance at least. Sure was. At the very least, it's 4th and 2 from the 24 and it's a much easier FG.

Maybe tomorrow after I sleep on this game, I'll be able to be more objective. But for tonight, I just need to be pissed off for awhile. I had hoped we were beyond this kind of crap. Maybe the defense was just so putrid last year that it's a two or three year fix. By the time we fix it, our window will probably be up, and we'll start losing talent because we have to pay Mahomes on his second contract. Maybe Andy is Marty all over again. Good coach, but is like Chuck Knox or Bud Grant. Just can't win the big one. Marty's underlings won Super Bowls, like Cowher and Dungy. Reid's underling Pederson won a Super Bowl at Philly -which is something Reid could never do while with the Eagles. So I don't know. Seems like we always get a guy that just can't find a way to get it done. It's only been 50 years.

....it is all is beginning to blur.
The losses and they way they lose is all too familiar. Reid was on the bench when the Titans scored. I find that odd. Like he's completely out of tune with the Defense. I mean , he's not even watching them play.. |

I don't like watching them play either. If they showed our defense to prisoners in Guantanamo it would be considered torture.

well this isn't Hailey Crennell type of losses, but it feels more like Peter Warrick and Vermei type of losses. No punt games.
