I think he can be a pretty good player. He seems to lack a bit of speed to have the chance to become elite but otherwise he looks good.

Like all of you, I think Thompson looks like he could be a beast in this offense. Frankly, I don't know what Hyde's here for except taking up a roster spot and some cap space. Now I'm fine with keeping Hyde, because I'm not a huge fan of the Fat Williams at RB.
All that said - here are Hoover's RB Rules to live by: 1. Never give one a second contract - like NEVER. 2. Use them all. I hate the RBBC, but its become a necessity in the NFL. 3. Draft one every year. Just keep the position filled with young talent, you never know when you are going to need them. |

I can hear the fantasy football talking on this post. Use them both, that's what is best for the real team. |

Waldman said he could be thought of as a Westbrook type dude. I'm sure Andy is ok with that.

Huh? He's faster than Kareem and reports have suggested that he ran 4'47 at his pro day which is the same as Zeke and faster than Gordan, Bell, Michel, Hunt, Kamara etc. So he's quick enough for sure and he claims he's even faster now after dropping a few pounds since college .

Just keep drafting guys that fit your profile. Look at all of the success that Reid has had with running backs. Look at all the success the Chiefs have had with running backs. Let someone else pay them their second contracts and in return you get a third round pick. |

I'm not sure we need a generational rb and based on what is going on with the rest of the league I'm not sure anybody needs one.
Saquon Barkley is one and he steamed the mighty Giants all the way to a 5-11 season |

Yeah, I was bullish on Hunt because he lacked the true breakaway speed, so i'm not doing that again.
I don't think it matters as much in the grand scheme of things. Give me the guy that can break tackles and has great vision. If he's not an Olympic sprinter, who cares. It is weird to see a #25 RB out there. He def doesn't have that Charles speed or balance but ****, who does? |
