I'm assuming the subs are literal Korean translations while the dubs are Americanized translations of the Korean lines. Some of the comedic stuff is weird and feels like it has no place in the drama/horror theme of the show. I don't know if they're actually tying to be funny or if the shots are serious. Maybe I'm so accustomed to American Cinematics that I'm not picking up the vibe the director is trying to put out? Overall solid show. Looking forward to season 2...with, hopefully, more episodes.
