I watched one of those pre-game shows and they were talking about the NFL instructing the refs to let the ticky tack fouls go. Let the players decide the games. Their point was this has been going on for years. They call games different in the playoffs.

Yea they always let more stuff go because when every game is a stand alone game there is going to be way more focus on refs throwing a bunch of flags.

So a team like the Chiefs actually benefits from it.

The two worst calls I thought were the running into the kicker and the non PI call on the Ebron route down the sideline.

Neither would have made any difference in the end result but they were still a bad call and non call, respectively.

The defender's leg whipped at Colquitt's leg as he was coming down. That is a penalty every time. There is no question about that.
You may be right or you may be wrong about the play on Ebron. I'll have to see that play again because I don't remember it the way you describe.
