For me, it was the aftermath of being handed script after script after script for hydrocodone and klonipin, (one for a back injury, and one for awful panic attacks) and then being told they were fine to take together. Euphoria like you couldn't imagine. I'm damn lucky I'm not dead knowing what I know now. I just thank the Lord I never graduated beyond hydro and the occasional oxycodone.

Some days I still miss it, but I've come a long way to being drug free. I'm not willing to jeopardize that.

Benzo withdrawl was the ****ing worst thing I've ever been through, btw. Even coming off a 1mg daily klonipin dose was hell. I don't know how people who take large doses of benzos ever quit.
