Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

This looks like an interesting bargain, though I don't know much about the 7.62x25mm round.
I don't think you can get the ammo anymore, it's kind of dried up?

That thing just feels so nice in your hand. I could live without the dual stage trigger, but everything else about the gun is just perfect for me. Oh, and it's still the best looking handgun ever made, IMO.
Love the Berretta, I'd love to get the .40S&W verson with a high capacity magazine but I can't justify buying one right now.

So I bought this scope quite awhile ago for my A-2 Colt & today I finally got to use it at some ranges out to 350 yards. I was really expecting the bullet drop compensator to be a worthless addition to the BSA scope. But I was wrong. It really did work. I think I paid under 50 bucks for this scope. Haven't put more than 300 rounds of abuse to it yet. So we will have to wait & see how it holds up. But so far so good :-)

Looks weird Huh?

I love it. If it ever breaks at a bad time you can just rip it off and go iron sites.

I can still use my irons. I wouldn't have bought it if i couldn't. That & the price are what really sold me on buying it.

No, but I am going to convert my RR AR back to just a basic carbine. It currently has a 12x Nikon Monarch (very nice scope BTW), but if the SHTF I wouldn't trust it if it where hit hard or dropped.

Besides, I have a shit load of long range rifles already.

How did that Scope mount on the handle? Is the mount part of the scope? Can you still carry it by the handle? Is it TOUGH?

Sorry about all of the questions.

Just heard on news that Scheels will open a new KC Store on 135th street. They are a pretty upscale outfit, Ive bought a few guns from them in Lincoln and i South Dakota. Not good for Dicks but Dicks has been nasty since they bought Galyans. May be old news for some but was first I heard of it

I actually had a dumbass at cabelasuck sit there & argue with me. that Reloaders 7 was the same as Reloaders 15.
Look Mr i want #15 not # 7. & after about 90 seconds of this argument I took the #7 & threw it across the store & yelled at the idiot. YOU ARE GOING TO GET SOMEONE ****ING KILLED! & walked out.
