Just purely a guess hog but if you are showing $50 difference that may be an issue of you forgetting about the 10% house fee. Like I said pure guess on my part

Yep. If you would read the rules you would know...

1. Editing your posts are not allowed in this game
2. You have to pay a 10% vig all winning point spread and over/under bets.

Chiefs (-4) $2500 - Loss
Chiefs/Chargers (over 54) - Loss
Dolphins/Ravens (over44.5) $500 - Win ($450)

Starting Balance = $8,000
Total loss = $6,050
Remaining = $1,950

Ok got it, My edit was to add the 3rd play, before the game, so I thought that was OK, didn't change my other two bets that I had already lost.

Oh wait so it's the point spread fee. OK

It's all good, I always flip the n00bs shit when it's clear that they didn't read the rules.

The reason for no editing is that it shows that you edited the post, but no one can see what you edited. The rule was put in place many years ago when it was suspected that someone had edited a bet after the game had been played. Just create a new post for each bet that you want to make.
