Not to mention, Dak is in a weak division.

While that's certainly not the End-All-Be-All in determining NFL success, that's a pretty low score for a QB that's expected to learn and process a "normal" NFL offense and read and react to NFL defenses. Dak scored a 25. |

Dak has been in the NFL two years longer than Lamar... don’t act like it is a 10 year difference to mask the fact Lamar has choked in his two playoff games and hasn’t led a fourth quarter comeback in nearly two years as a starting QB (Dak has nine 4th quarter comebacks).

Lamar would either have to learn to run a typical pro offense in DAL or they'd have to reorganize their offense to suit Lamar. But since we're blue-skying here, let's just assume he'd have to learn to run the DAL offense as is. This year I don't think that would go that well. But DAL isn't really ideal for a QB like Lamar. What if he went to, maybe the 49ers? Could he operate that offense in place of Jimmy? I think he probably could. Oh, there's things that Jimmy is better at, but he's not a great QB either. They aren't asking him to carry the team either. |

But a really low score is generally an indicator that a person won't be able to do anything well if it requires problem solving, especially quickly. |

It doesn't just test if you can get the right answer. It also tests how fast you can get the right answer. People really don't learn how to think faster, even if they can learn by volume. |

But a low score on the Wonderlic test doesn't necessarily mean that a person can't learn to do a basic pre-snap read does it? I mean, Marino managed and his score wasn't that great either. |

Give me an average QB like Dak, who can provide just enough traction in the passing game to pull off wins if you put a great defense and solid running game around him, rather than an over-glorified RB like Lamar... every single day of the week.

Although Lamar was curb stomped by Fat Freddie Kitchens’ Browns last year so maybe that isn’t a legit advantage. |

And in Daks second year he didn't exactly throw for 36 tds and 6 ints with a 113 passer rating for 3.127 yds either, more like 22 tds 13 ints with an 86 passer rating for 3,324 yds.
