Fair enough. The twins are boys but I get your point. Admittedly, the pot shop would not be my first choice when deciding where to post up and sell GS cookies. That being said, if they if they came to me and said "daddy, Sarah and Amy are making a killing selling cookies at the smoke and chill shop across the street from the Starbucks on 1st street. I really wanna win the cool prize for top cookie seller! Can we post up at the chill and smoke shop across the street from mcdonalds on 2nd street? I can honestly say I would say yes, assuming it was legal and their mother said it was ok. She tends to care about people's opinions or perceptions more than I. If she said no, I wouldn't fight her. I know who bakes my bread.

As to alcohol and myself, yes, I like a beer or glass of wine from time to time. Yes, my kids have seen me watching a game and having a beer.

Meh. Whatever. Kids are a product of the environment they were raised in, not a product of that one time they sold cookies at smokers choice. The liquor store in my neighborhood is next to a Quiznos and a tanning bed, behind a Starbucks, and across the parking lot from the grocery store. The same people in the grocery store and dry cleaners are in the liquor store. If my kid was gonna sell more cookies they could sell em there if they wanted, though a pot shop seems like a better option. Also, the same people in the grocery store and tanning bed are the same people in a legal pot shop. You never answered my question, though. You never dug a little deeper. What are you scared of? What is the underlying motivation? Exposure to dangerous drugs has already been crossed off of the list.

I'd like to think because I'm a good parent who wants to protect his children for as long as he can. For the same reason why I voted against this in Colorado. I didn't want to see the legalization of yet another drug and I figured that things like this would happen when it was legalized.
