I could see where you would say that not having seen Friday Night Lights.
I had a very difficult time not seeing him as "Landry," simply because his speech patterns, mannerisms and vocal inflections were EXACTLY the same. It pulled me out of the story quite often, but not enough to make me really upset at the show or anything. I think they could have cast it a bit better if they had known he was going to be the exact same guy. |

His Friday Night Lights character was a geeky A student. I won't give it away for anyone who hasn't seen it, but he finds himself in trouble not because he was a psychopath. Totally different characters. He played that part unbelievable. His situation in that show was really intense.

Minor correction, but she played Ross' lesbian ex-wife's girlfriend, not the ex-wife.

Oh, and Bushy - there is character precedent for Uncle Jack to have been offended at being called a liar. He's always held up "his word" to be important. In the first scene of "Ozymandias" he can't leave the desert until he and Walt "are cool." Etc.

Also, I'm not the only one who sees it.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/steven...b_3983924.html There are a ton of websites out there that try to connect the two characters (even though this is as dumb as the witness protection Malcom in the Middle thing). So, even though that's dumb, it shows that there are a TON of similarities between the two characters. And again, I'm really talking about the way he delivers his lines and gestures. Not really comparing the actions of the characters. It's more in the way you see Rocky in Stallone's movies because hiss citing breadth just isn't good enough to really separate himself rom that character in subsequent films. His lines are delivered the same and he has the same facial expressions. |

It was very plausible. She knew about the hit and what time the meet up was scheduled for. She was the anxious type and would have been overwrought with worry/anticipation. The behavior fit the character as we knew her. That her call went through after Jesse walked out was well within the realm of a reasonable time frame.

Who called the cops at the end? I'm sure the sound of machine gun fire inside an armed Nazi compound probably isn't that rare of an occurrence, if there was any neighbors anyways which I doubt.

Would guess a neighbor reporting the sound of gun shots. Had to sound like a hot night in Afghanistan with the high caliber machine gun fire.

Wasn't she also the female blacksmith in "A Knight's Tale", dropping the Nike swoosh on wutzisname's armor?
