Barry Sanders my ass...

I can't believe anybody would think that he runs anything like Barry Sanders! The guy's a midget! He doesn't run anything remotely close to like Barry Sanders runs!

Too bad Q goes down on the first hit.

He has some moves. That's about it. Won't hold up over 16 games, guarantee it.

Especially if he does not learn to keep his mouthpiece in. Just look at the pic in TJ's post. He is going to get his bell rung and maybe even bite his tongue off and shatter his teeth.

I noticed on several plays he did not put his mouth piece in.

I noted the same thing during preseason. Sadly, our defense totally wiffed on him too often.

I took the midget as a sleeper in my FFL.

Let's hope it's the system...and not just KC's run defense.

WOW.

I'd lay off the crack during the post game celebration. It amazes me how Bronco fans just want to make all these comparisons... "Oh we need him to be like Elway"... "Barry Sanders!"... seriously, just let your players be who they are, they aren't going to be those other guys. Jake Plummer can be solid, but the only way he ever comes close to Elway's jock strap is if he goes to Canton and buys a ticket just like everyone else. Q Griffin? I like the guy, you can even go back and look where I said I thought he'd break 100 yards Sunday...but seriously, to even compare him in ANY fashion to Barry Sanders is ridiculous. Q looked good, but I think you need to go back and watch some of the things Barry did. When Q does what Barry did over a course of 10 years, then we can talk, but that's a long, long, looooong way off, especially after one freaking regular season game. Barry Sanders may be the most electric player to ever step on an NFL field. Just shameless.
