WR spot
So say next year rolls around and Minnesota is gonna let Cousins walk. They wanna take a swing at a QB in the draft.
But they need picks. So, the Chiefs call and offer 2 1's for Jefferson. How terrible of an idea is that? |

My main issue with it is LT. Obviously Jefferson would be great, but you get max 1 cheap year before you're paying him, and you've given up 2 1sts when you'll need an LT next year and almost certainly can't afford one in FA once you're paying Jefferson.
I'd keep the picks, see if you can move up for a proper LT or WR that's cost controlled for longer, personally. |

Yeah, if you trade for him you're paying him immediately.
I don't think I'd do it personally, I'd rather use those picks to go up for a LT, but Jefferson would be sweet. |

Or, you continue to play the moneyball game that we have been playing with DB's, DL, WR & RB, and invest the picks into OT or DT (if Jones leaves).

Why let Tyreek go if you're going to turn around and give up x2 firsts and the same contract value? ...This move wouldn't fit the front offices philosophy.

It's been a few months since you last tried to give away an entire draft. I suppose this idea isn't any worse than the others.
