Brees retired

"After 20 years as a player in the NFL and 15 years as a Saint, it is time I retire from the game of football. Each day, I poured my heart & soul into being your Quarterback. Til the very end, I exhausted myself to give everything I had to the Saints organization, my team, and the great city of New Orleans. We shared some amazing moments together, many of which are emblazoned in our hearts and minds and will forever be a part of us. You have molded me, strengthened me, inspired me, and given me a lifetime of memories. My goal for the last 15 years was striving to give to you everything you had given to me and more.
I am only retiring from playing football, I am not retiring from New Orleans. This is not goodbye, rather a new beginning. Now my real life‘s work begins!"

Why aren't they wearing their Mahomes jerseys?

Edit: Dang it. You deleted the link to his kids.

Yeah, for sure. Got a raw deal from the Chargers, went on to be a champion and set all time records for quarterbacks, all doing it with class.

I like what the saints did giving taysom hill a huge money deal but voidable. Gives the saints a chance to see if they can truly build around him and cut bait if it doesn't work.

I don't think you can build around him so I'm guessing new orleans will be aggressive at qb in the draft.

It's absolute nonsense to think Taysom Hill is an acceptable NFL starting QB.

Dude makes Lamar Jackson look like Dan Marino when throwing the ball.

I don't think so either. But that team is too good to tank and they've proven they can win games in spite of him. Like I said, I like the idea because it's voidable. They're paying him a lot right now so they can easily cut him. It buys them some time to find a replacement qb at a shitty draft spot.
