Can you imagine how much the local casinos would make if Missouri legalizes it. I'd rather spend Sunday at the casino instead of at the game. March Madness gets alot more fun as well.

This ruling should open up a whole new discussion of government over reach. I am sick of seeing the federal government forcing states to enact laws that they can't. Same reason why every state has seatbelt laws. Because the federal government forced them to enact those laws.

as I was reading it, I thought he was headed towards federal govt essentially mandating drinking age as his example. Didn’t put it in this perspective though.

I thought about that actually, and DWI laws. They we're also forced on the states. And, although they are good laws to have in the books, the government was still overstepping their powers in forcing the states to act. I didn't include them because I didn't want to come across wrong as being against DWI laws. But the way that those laws we're enacted, I believe, is unconstitutional.
