Game of Thrones Seasons 7-8
About to hit the 5000 post mark on the old thread, the first season 7 trailer today seems like the right time to start the final Game of Thones thread.

I'm going back to the original rules pre-2015. I don't think we need supervision or bannings. Just don't be a dick. Post anything you find online that hasn't aired yet inside of spoiler tags. That's pretty much it. I think we can all handle that...

How many other battles with the NK happened in the dark? None that I can think of. My guess it was money. To film the same battle in the light would cost a lot more.

The one thing I liked though was the Dothroki's riding into the night lit up and being extinguished. That was kind of cool. Everyone back at Winterfell was Oh ****.

I was originally disappointed that the NK was killed like that, but this i remembered this quote from GRRM:

I became a fan of Beric Dondarion through the books. After Ned sends him on his mission you read little blurbs here and there about him continuing his mission inspite of Ned’s death and all the turmoil that follows it.
