The Chiefs' "32 defense" should keep him out of the HOF forever.

**** DICK Vermin. I hate his little wine-tasting, crying ass almost as much as I hate Herm. Just because you get lucky enough to win a SB shouldn't put you in the Hall.

It's pretty much a formality that Vermeil will be elected.
The senior nominees are shoo ins. 98% chance he is elected. The only time I remember a senior nominee not getting elected was Claude Humphrey in 2009, but he eventually got in anyway. |

Perhaps I do and the more skin-to-skin contact the better. Would you please line up Charlize Theron for tomorrow, Salma for the day after, Cobie Smulders for Friday, and Jennifer Aniston for Saturday. I'll get back to you after Jen for next week's lineup if I live that long.

We lost in the most frustrating possible ways under Vermeil, but I still remember those years fondly. Maybe it's because I was young and stupid, but I don't care. I like him and I liked his heart-on-his-sleeve approach. He's a special guy and a great communicator, too.
If people bitch that his resume isn't good enough to go in the hall, once again... Terrell ****ing Davis is in the HOF. They ruined any sense of exclusivity that the HOF had when they let his overrated ****ing ass in. So Dick Vermeil is an overrated coach? Well, there's no standard any more for the HOF, so I say go ahead and give him his jacket and let him weep on that stage. |

Greatest Show on Turf! The Godfather of modern day offenses...
However, Mike Martz doesn't get enough credit for that. He deserves it as much as Dick for what he brought to that iconic Ram team. Dick built a winner in KC too. He deserves it. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=rvuyo6YkEj0&t=745s |

If my team had no coach, and Vermeil were 30 years younger, I would be extremely disappointed to see him hired. Would rather take a chance on a no-name and it isn't close. But sure, put him in the HOF. Like SNR said it's a joke anyway. (Although I think Bettis is a better example of why than Davis.)

His teams were the most fun I've ever had watching Chiefs football. I don't dislike like this board seems to but he was only 120-109 as a coach. That's not HOF stuff.
