Had to go A-, because as a player his only real weakness is lack of road grading power, he is very much a Casey Wiegmann-like, highly mobile, solid technician... the problem is that he doesnt have Shields and Watters on either side of him to make up for that lack of power
Performed as expected, at least when he was able to play Slightly smaller role, needs to be an interior backup Ability is stable, he wont get any better than he is now, but I also wont hold injury concerns against him here WANT a second for him, but would accept a 3rd because of injury concerns Dime |

We're almost at halftime, and then you can get some oxygen in the locker room.

His injury really hurt us when we went on that five out of six game losing slide. You can say that Zack Fulton is better, he may be. But Fulton is a free agent, and may or may not return to KC. Morse is certainly not a glaring libability when he's in, but he's got to find a way to stay healthy so he can be relied upon.

C-
His inability to stay healthy is a huge factor in my grade. He's not a guy that I'd extend or count on long term. Plantar Fasciitis and concussions are not generally signs of a long career. |

Morse might look better with a NFL caliber lt guard next to him and better coaching. Looking at you Andy Heck. We just seemed better with Fulton in there. Andy I am sure likes his ability to get out in space but he is constantly stood up and moved aside when you need to maul out a yard or two. Tim Grunhard said at start of the year he was young and still learning. He said in run and short yardage he tends to come straight up out of the snap to soon. Tries to muscle up with the big guys instead or staying low and driving. Tim thought as the season went on he would learn this against bigger stronger Tackles. Instead he couldnt stay healthy so I would upgrade or resign Fulton.

Its starting to look like he is concussion prone, and his others injuries tend to linger... thats why I really prefer him as a backup, he'd be a very high quality interior replacement 4-6-8 games a year IMO |
