First in line with "I'll give you 75 cents for it" joke!
**** gamestop. Savagely ripping off teenagers as a business model seems like something that shouldn't be celebrated.

That place is probably the most predatory retail chain in existence. **** them. Can't die quickly enough.

Was at Town Central Mall yesterday in Charleston, WV. You could spot the ones going to GameStop from 300 meters out.

I still have a ton of erewards credit with GameStop. I was hoping to save it for a PS5. Wonder when the store closing list will be made public.

Is there a newslink? This is not even on reddit, I think it will eventually happen but I can't find it.

I like GameStop simply to buy used games on the cheap.
And you can usually tell how shit a recent new release is based on how many uses copies are lying around. I picked up MLB the show 17 for like $8 back in maybe May of this year. Granted, it’s a few years old but I still play it. I stopped buying new games years ago, apart from the occasional must have like Red Dead Redemption II. But hose types of must buy games are really rare for me.

Can't remember the last time I set foot inside one. Although frankly I kind of miss the days when you'd actually buy a game and physically own the disc(s). If anything would ever happen to Steam all my current stuff would vanish like a fart in the wind.

You can backup a hard copy of any games from Steam. Not many people know that.

I do too but being on PC only i've had to learn to adapt, now hardware on the other hand I much prefer to go out and physically get it and hope that continues on for my lifetime.
