I'm a little worried that my alien wants to be my wife.

T’was a dark and stormy evening when, emanating from deep within the forest behind my home, I perceived a strange and pulsating light whose origin to me was unknown. In furtherance of curiosity and compelled by the promise of identifying the source of the anomalous luminescence, I entered the woodland and encountered a device of unrecognizable provenance which, elevating beyond the treetops and into the Stygian sky, then flew upward at a dreadful velocity and disappeared into the bleakness beyond.

Retreating, I happened upon a small creature which I immediately surmised was one of the occupants of the strange and otherworldly vehicle I had just seen. Seeming lost and disoriented, I encouraged this inordinately morphologic lifeform to accompany me to my home where the miniscule brute was provided shelter.

After some days, I have noted with no small amount of trepidation and disquiet that the entity has begun assuming what can only be called a lovesick attitude. This viewpoint is persuaded by my observations of the organism purposefully staring at me with its inhuman, black, almond-shaped eyes and tilting its oversized, greenish head in a pining, yearning, and overtly infatuated posture.

It is, of course, impossible to be certain as I have no means to communicate with the entity, but I believe the creature (such as it is) is desirous of a more substantive and formalized relationship.

PS: (Sorry if re-post.)

Check the pension plan of the alien's planet. Some of them have really good pension plans. Others just eat you when you get old.

Show it your penile erection. Perhaps this would lure the creature into action.

As you bring it to my mention, Mr. HemiEd, I have, of late, allowed to myself the unrivaled pleasure of binge-watching Deadwood.

Perhaps, having been caught unawares, my linguistic tendencies have been unduly and so affected.

(PS: I wish there was a comparable program available via the teevee or ht-teepee of which I could avail myself. Damn fine show, it was.)
