I was most disappointed in Justin Houston i was pimping him all week calling him the Beast. I was wrong about him he just isn't what he once was.

He had 2 of our 99 tackles at least so I know he played. Jones and Ford didn’t record a single tackle. Not one.

It's hard to get sacks when he throws the ball in 1.5 seconds 95% of the time. The QB rules and that scheme have made touching him extremely hard.
Mahomes got sacked because Andy Reid is a dipshit, the Pats are blitzing and doing cover 0 and the Chiefs are running these deep routes...it's like hey guys where are the hots for a blitz? |

Horrid gameplan. Should've attacked attacked attacked but no we sat back and let the GOAT pick our shit secondary to bits. Yeah he still would've carved us up on blitzes but gotta make him fear getting hit.
Suttons plan was probably to have 7 or 8 in coverage all night and let Houston, Ford and Jones make 1 on 1 plays but they got stonewalled all night. Ford was getting doubled a lot. |

Their two RBs had as many touches as our offense ran plays (47). Of Brady gets it out too quickly then sub out Ford for a LB who can tackle.
Dirty Dan had to make 15 tackles. Fuller 10. The front 7 didn’t tackle anyone. |

Soft team in the trenches. It showed with the rushing yards for each team and the amount of pressure on each QB.

The NE Offense - dink/dunk/get the ball out fast, is incredibly difficult to pressure because there simply isn't enough time. This is especially true when you can't stop the run. NE's ability to run forced us to being in an extra defensive lineman to stop the run, which then opens shit up for Brady in the passing game.
Its a unique problem, because lets face it, NE works because of who their QB is and how disciplined (BB) is. Yeah it was hard to watch, but if you are going to make off season decisions based entirely on the result of this game you are crazy. |

The Patriots offense is built around efficiency and precision. Brady is brilliant at diagnosing the defense and knowing where he's throwing, so the time from snap to pass is not long enough for the defense to get there.
That's why the so called blueprint for stopping Brady is always the same, and it's always about being able to get pressure up the middle and shutting down the receivers at the line. |

We should've done to them exactly what they did to us...get up on the LOS and be physical, cover zero, and blitz.
If they beat it then they beat it...better than sitting back and suffering a death by 1,000 cuts. |

This so much. I didn't understand just letting Edelman get a free release at the line and running to the middle of the field over and over again.
