Wow, I just saw Buck Buchanan in a movie.
The classic M*A*S*H movie is on. They had a scene where the football game is about to start, and a big guy was standing there. I was like, "Hey, that looks like Buck Buchanan!" So I looked it up, and sure enough, he had an uncredited appearance in the movie. I had no idea.
Former Chief Fred Williamson has a prominent role, but I assumed that was known. I also see uncredited appearances in the list by Fran Tarkenton and Johnny Unitas, among others. And hey, Chiefs returner Noland Smith was "Superbug". https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066026/fullcredits Last edited by Rain Man; 02-01-2019 at 03:05 PM.. |

They've shown him twice. Both times he was standing next to that subhuman garbage Ben Davidson.
They may have also shown him from the back. There was some big guy with #86. Ben Davidson just had a speaking line. Oh, and I think Buck is the guy who actually injured S**********r Jones.

I didn't see Unitas or Joe Kapp or Tarkenton unless Unitas was shown briefly smoking a cigarette on the sideline. It didn't look a lot like him, but maybe it was.

Are you giving Manny Perry credit for playing Kansas City Chief Tight End Big Jim Slade in the Kentucky Fried Movie?

I knew Noland Smith was in it. Us old guys remember when that bastard Ben Davidson clotheslined him.

The fourteen-year-old son of director Robert Altman, Mike, wrote the lyrics to the theme song "Suicide is Painless". Because of its inclusion in the subsequent television series, he continued to get residuals throughout its run and syndication. His father was paid $75,000 for directing, but his son eventually made about $2 million in song royalties.
