Nice cast for sure. Definite Shaun of the Dead vibe.

You can’t say Adam Driver’s not a dedicated actor. His first acting break was playing a guy who ****s Lena Dunham. The guy’s an ex-marine who served in Iraq. What do you think was worse, the horrors of war or having to mount that wildebeest?

Zombieland was pretty good (which I hear a sequel is in the works).

Could be a trainwreck in the final execution, but I tend to trust Jarmusch.
That double-take by Murray when Driver says it's zombies is the closer in the sales pitch.

So yeah, ok. Before I do this, I have to confess that I am not a hard core Murray-phile. Are his moves, as in all of them, an acquired taste? Because if they are, it would go a long long way towards explaining what an over bloated piece of shit this movie was. I mean - awful. Just awful. Saying that, Murray and Driver have some good scenes together and seem to have a good connection throughout. Doesn't save this piece of shit, though.
Just...just don't with this one. |
