Chris Simms "the blatant DPI on Hill was the turning point in the game"
Simms confirms what I said yesterday at 20:30 in the breakdown video.
I dont care what anyone says...the officials changed the course of the game on that play. It resulted in a potential 14 point swing in a matter of plays... Raiders dont win this game if that is called correctly...refs altered the dynamic. Lets them have their sham victory lap...with Clete Blakeman driving the bus. Their fans know... Blakeman officiated the NE/Jags AFCCG...which was one of the most blatant hatchet jobs in playoff history. He also did the Rams/Chiefs AND the Chiefs/NE AFCCG in 2018. The Chris Jones "roughing" Brady call might have been his finest work... His record speaks for itself...controversy follows this douchebag. Last edited by BlackOp; 10-13-2020 at 10:07 AM.. |

CBS announcer Charles Davis was cheering it on and saying it shouldn’t be called. CBS needs to let him go for such blatant bias. Let him work for the Vegas radio station.

He's worse than Dan Fouts. At least Fouts doesn't pretend to be unbiased. **** Davis. Send him back to FOX's doorstep in a bag on fire. |

I could never stand listening to Dan Fouts, he was terrible and CBS did the right thing when they showed him the door. CBS had to really try hard to find someone worse, enter Charles Davis. The only announcer I have ever listened to that was that hard on the ears, was Randy Cross.

I thought getting rid of Fouts would be a great move too. I was wrong.

Yeah, going on and on.... and on with "I'm glad that wasn't called, he was playing the football" (as they show the guy tomahawk chopping Hill's arms)..... "did he get there a little early, maybe, but it was a good non-call".

It honestly did feel a bit fishy. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a game where a team had 18 points stolen from them in a half on iffy or just plain bad calls (especially a team as good as this one is). Chiefs would have been up by over two touchdowns at half had that game been reffed evenly, which would have prevented the Raiders from controlling play through the run as they did in the 2nd half. It was an absolute joke of a game and I wouldn’t project much of anything from it.

This one had the same vibe as the Texans last year...Chiefs were on their way to a rout. Mahomes threw an INT on what he thought was a free play. The refs, fearing a blowout on national TV, picked up the flag and awarded Houston the turnover. Chiefs were cruising to a 3 score lead...that play, 100% caused by bogus officiating, turned the entire momentum of the game. Raiders would have been down by 2 scores...KC had control of the game up until that moment. The NFL views these types of games as regular season fodder for ratings...it good business to keep the Raiders close. The Vegas insiders get the advanced skinny and rake in free cash... Honestly, I wasn't even too mad. I just like calling their lying asses out....They will see to it that the Raiders get that new final WC slot. NFL knows nobody wants to see Carr in a SB....so its just window dressing. Last edited by BlackOp; 10-13-2020 at 02:42 AM.. |

NFL officials are generally average to bad. They are very rarely good. The non-call on Hill was atrocious and certainly did take at least 7 points off the board. That being said, it's kind of hard to say it directly led to a 14-point swing because the Raiders' subsequent score was a 72-yard bomb caused by a complete breakdown in the defensive backfield. It also happened AFTER the Chiefs defense gave up back-to-back 5 play, 75 yard drives. So your final point is by far the most important - if you don't want the officials to hurt you with their ineptitude, don't play like shit. |

I've re-watched the 1st TD taken away from Hill, as much as the Raider player was going down on the holding call, it was just that, a holding call. Osemelle had the Raiders jersey, pulling him down, assisting in him going to the ground faster.
I was pissed at that call at first until I saw a replay well after the game for a better angle and saw Osemelle's hand full of jersey, pulling it downwards. Kelce's OPI was legit, he lowered his shoulder. Had Kelce stayed upright, nothing would have been called. On Hill's no call DPI, it was DPI! Defender got there and hit Hill long before attempting to make a play at the ball.
