****ing dogs. I hate dogs. Why do so many people even get to own them? They cause a TONNNN of significant injury from dog bites. It's ridiculous dogs are allowed as pets in cities, and glorified at that, at least big dogs. Ever been to someone's house with a untrained dog? They are the worst.

Seems like sharks are the most overrated predator and bees/wasps the most underrated although that is assuredly due to allergic reactions but the same can be said about spiders.

It looks like dogs and horses are the most dangerous animals in the United States outside of people with allergies.
Where do birds fall on this list? Those are pretty scary sometimes.

HAYYYYYELL NO!

The short faced-bear was the top predator in neolithic North America. Even grizzlies ran scared. It could run as fast as a horse.

For 50 or 100 yards, a Grizzly can run faster than any horse as well, 35 MPH.

I had a pretty butt puckering encounter with a dog not too long ago (mastiff) but it wasn't the dog it was the dumbass owner letting an alpha dog run on a city walking trail unhinged not knowing who or what was in charge.

My sister is one of the most book smart people you'll ever meet but couldn't train a dog to save her life.

Not everyone should be riding a motorcycle or piloting an airplane but their just not smart enough to know it.

I must clarify. I do like dogs, I just hate untrained dogs. Especially untrained big dogs. They will even become dangerous because they are used to getting away with anything and can be taught to be aggressive. It's not necessarily the dogs fault, it's the owner for not properly using obedience training for their dog.

With that said, Australia has a pretty big problem with dingos and wild previously domesticated dogs running amuck.
