Nick Foles might have just landed the Chiefs a 3rd round comp pick

As the NFL explains, compensatory picks are awarded to teams that lose more or better compensatory free agents than they acquire. The number of picks a team can receive equals the net loss of compensatory free agents, up to a maximum of four. Compensatory free agents are determined by a secret formula based on salary, playing time and postseason honors. Not every free agent lost or signed is covered by the formula.

I'm guessing it's a 5th at the very worst, and probably a 3rd or 4th.

Since it's is based on what the player did for their new team what Foles would be worth to the Eagles could only be determined if he went to a new team and they calculated a new comp pick based on the factors talked about through out this thread. If he went somewhere else and never played a snap he wouldn't be worth much unless they gave him a big contract because of his work with the Eagles.
