Well, there's ol' JPM winning it. That was a really good, competitive race.

Hell of a race... I wonder if Justin Wilson hadn't pulled up in front of Power if he would have gotten to Montoya there.

That didn't disappoint at all.

Lotta Royals shirts at the track Sunday. Haven't ever seen that in years past.
Another great race. These are the glory years of Indy. Years back, these races would end with only 1-3 guys on the lead lap. |

Apart from the action, The military man playing "Taps" on the bugle over loudspeaker before the start....while 250k+ people are silent......it's incredible. |

http://www.buglesacrossamerica.org/ And yes, it's always a moving experience when played at a funeral. Before he could drive and was bugling funerals where a military bugler couldn't attend, I'd drive him and stay in the background, and it was always amazing how even the birds and animals seem to stop for the playing of taps. |

With all the fake patriotism out there (like the NFL teams getting paid to partake in these things), it's nice there's one place left where it's real. Where they've done tributes - meaningful tributes - for 100 years. Before TV, before social media, before advertising even. And it never changes. It's been the same forever.
