there was a cache of weapons nearby? sooooo not a robbery. he pissed off somebody that didnt want the guns, wasn't afraid to approach him with those weapons nearby (or there were a few goons with the shooter so russian dude's equipment manager was overpowered), the shooter was somebody he trusted, it was an accidental death during a filming project, or suicide.

did I miss anything?

Also, just FYI, the host (not the guy that died) does not actually have a Russian accent. It's a faked one, albeit a good impersonation. The show is filmed in the southern US and was originally passed off as being filmed in Russia. The kid actually sounds like a redneck.
