Tulsa sports radio is awful. Especially considering the afternoon guy is a Raiders fan, and a douchey one at that. Ugh. It was round 2 of March Madness and these douche nozzles were talking about Tulsa football.

Plank and Pop? One is a Raider fan and I think the other is a Niner fan isn't he?

It's a dark paneled, high priced geriatric lounge lizard booze pit for old, rich, white Johnson County sleaze balls to congregate, have three martini lunches and talk about who can't get it up any more.
They have a house "Lynn Zimmer Jazz Band," which is desperately comical. I can see the sixty something insurance salesmen washing down their Viagra with Cutty Sark and hitting on a 40-something waitress with four kids by three different husbands. Danny Clinkscale does their commercials with the owner, this old fart named Dick Hawk. It's bad local radio copywriting at its finest, and all the commercials have this insipid, awful clarinet music in the background. Apparently Lynn Zimmer is to Dick Hawk as Stevie is to Kenny Powers. |

The only thing I'd add is that you could no doubt guess everything on the menu before even looking at it.

One day a while back I was listening to Petro's show at work. I caught it right as The Program began it's day. This MF'er started out for about 9-12 minutes talking about some promotion...then went to GD commercial.
I went to the Facebook page, and left a message something to the effect of "Nice 15 Minute Infomercial To Start the day". I went back to the site about 15 minutes later and they had taken it down. lol. Pussies. |
