He's probably getting paid, as are all BB's assistants. The Razorback Foundation opened the purse strings for us to fill out this staff. I also wonder if he felt he was stagnating at KSU (though I know nothing about the guy other than he's been there a long time and is an alum).

I'm thrilled with our new staff, but I worry about our ability to keep them together as many of them are "rising stars" and may be moving up to better positions soon.

A minor bit of real news today.

The university of Virginia has cancelled a game against Penn State, and will play Oregon instead. That game was supposed to be played this September.

That is extremely late notice for a BCS-level opponent, and very unusual. It makes more sense though if you believe (as long rumored) that the Big 10 is targetting UVA.
