SceneItAll Tournament: Round 8 - The Championship

This is for all the marbles. The two favorite movie scenes of Chiefsplanet have been determined, and in roughly 24 hours a winner will be declared between them. Good luck to the combatants.

Start this clip at the invasion - the 3:02 mark.

My vote is obvious:

#1 - Pulp Fiction. This scene contains humor, witty dialogue, great acting, and drama. You can't beat it.

#2 - Saving Private Ryan. This scene is epic, truly epic. But it doesn't contain much humor and witty dialogue. Silver medalist.

This is going to be like watching Ali and Frazier, or Dempsey and Tunney.

Ryan.

One of the few war movies that attempts to bring the true experience to the viewer.

Too easy, SPR... anything to take a dump on pulp fiction.

This place has damn near made me hate that movie.

Now that we've reached the end of this thing, I'd like to say thanks again to Rain Man for putting this thing together. That had to be a heck of a job.

Thanks bud.

lol....I knew you'd be along soon enough to spread the Pulp Fiction hate.

That's just a great scene, man. The dialogue is wonderful. Every time I see it, I enjoy it just as much as I did the first time. I believe that's what this tourney was all about.

It has been a pleasure. It's fun to see what resonates with the masses around here.

And, umm, I've discovered that this is a group that really enjoys violence and confrontation.

I was disappointed in the lack of love for comedy.

Like I've said before...saw it at a theatre & the crowd was in absolute shock from that scene. I've never been in a crowd like that before or since. It is brutal to watch but it's an incredible movie scene. I can only imagine the painstaking work that went into making it.
